Andrea Garland

Andrea is a Senior Associate and an architect at Thriven Design with over twenty years of design experience. She has worked on a wide variety of residential project typologies, with a strong focus on the affordable, senior, and student housing market sectors. She is an expert in both new construction and rehabilitation, and holds a key role at Thriven Design in the design, development, and coordination of construction documentation for each of our projects. In addition to her indispensable role throughout the design development phase of any given project, Andrea is committed to providing exceptional service to clients and contractors throughout all phases of construction administration.

She holds a Bachelor of Architecture professional degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, with a minor in Building Construction, and is a LEED® Accredited Professional, as well as a registered architect.
