Architectural Project Manager

Thriven Design is a dynamic, multidisciplinary architecture, MEP/FP engineering, planning, and interior design firm that was founded in 1971 with a mission to serve others and create places where people thrive. Our work spans multifamily housing, including affordable, market-rate, and student housing, as well as adaptive reuse, asset preservation, large-scale site planning, multi-use, community healthcare, and more.

Your Impact:

The full-time Architectural Project Manager is vital to the success of Thriven Design. This role serves as the intersection point for our clients, project team, consultants, internal leadership, and other project stakeholders. For you, that means a dynamic and challenging experience, with tremendous potential for career growth and hands-on learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight and guidance throughout the project lifecycle including design concept, project requirements, drawing and specification development, and construction administration
  • Manage client and team (internal and external) coordination and communication
  • Provide advanced working knowledge of other disciplines for guidance in building detailing, building science, envelope, and building systems
  • Provide review and revisions to renderings, animations, and construction documents
  • Apply project presentation and meeting communication skills
  • Prepare proposals and project scope, including setting project fees and timelines
  • Report to the Principal-in-Charge for each project, providing project status updates on a regular basis

Education, Experience and Compensation:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Architecture
  • Experience: At least 10 years of job-related experience
  • Licensure/Certification: Registered Architect or pursuing Architecture licensure
  • Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $90,000 – $125,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with projects in the mixed-use and multifamily residential markets
  • Experience working with BIM software and other applications in a digital production environment
