Architectural Project Manager

We are presently seeking an enthusiastic design professional for the role of Project Manager.

The ideal candidate is a registered architect with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, a minimum of 10 years of experience, and professional licensure. Project Management and Architectural experience should include all phases of architectural design projects from set-up through design and construction administration. Candidates must possess strong skills in team organization and collaboration, design, technical documentation, detailing, code review and interpretation, communication (both verbal and written), and consultant coordination.  Experience in mixed-use and/or multi-family residential markets is a plus.

A working knowledge of standard office software programs and an aptitude for learning are required.  Experience with ArchiCAD, strong presentation skills and LEED® accreditation are a plus.

Junior Architect

We are presently seeking an enthusiastic design professional for the role of Junior Architect.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture and a minimum of two years of experience. Project experience should include all phases of architectural design projects from set-up through design and construction administration. Candidates must possess strong skills in teamwork, design, technical documentation and verbal and written communication.  Experience in the mixed-use, multifamily residential, and/or commercial markets is a plus.

Planner

We are presently seeking an enthusiastic planning and design professional with excellent planning, site, and urban design skills.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s of Architecture or Master’s degree in Urban Design or Architecture and at least three years of professional experience in design. AICP licensure and/or a Master’s degree in City Planning is a plus.  Project experience should include site research and analysis, planning studies, community planning, urban design, master plans, site plans and capacity studies. Experience with architectural design, mixed-use and multi-family projects is also desirable. A working knowledge of standard office software programs as well as experience with AutoCAD and/or 3D modeling programs (ArchiCAD, Revit) are required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, GIS and Sketch-Up are a plus. Excellent verbal and writing skills and strong graphic presentation skills (both free-hand and digital) are essential. Experience with community engagement and public speaking are a plus. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, organized, and resourceful individual with the ability to work independently or in a team environment and will be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously.

We are seeking a senior electrical engineer with a minimum of ten years experience in finding practical solutions when designing systems from concept through construction completion for commercial, multi-family, educational, healthcare; new and retrofit projects.

The Requirements —

  • Degree in Architectural Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • PE License is desirable but not required
  • “Hands on” design experience with various types of electrical systems
  • Strong relational and communication skills with client, business and coworkers

The successful candidate will be a seasoned and capable engineering project manager, capable of designing and engineering a project from initial concept through completed construction.

The Requirements —

  • B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineering License in NJ & PA (If applicant does not have both, the ability to obtain the one the applicant does not have).
  • Project management experience a must (including interfacing with client, coworkers, and code officials).
  • Proven track record of success in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Hands-on experience with engineering, design, building, and mechanical code requirements, with emphasis on multifamily facilities including affordable housing, student housing and market-rate housing.
  • Energy efficient design knowledge in definitely a plus.
  • Familiarity with the following apartment building types are a benefit: Garden, Low-rise, Mid-rise and High-rise.

  • Work with leadership to manage design manpower budget and update budget to reflect revisions or changes in scope.

  • Work closely with marketing, leadership and business development.
