Parkview Hall at Stockton University named a NJ Biz Top Project of 2025

NJ Biz has selected Parkview Hall at Stockton University Atlantic City as a 2025 Top Project in its fifth annual Leaders in Real Estate Construction and Design awards program. Projects were selected for their contributions to the state’s built landscape in the public, private, transportation and infrastructure and renovation sectors. Honorees gathered at an in-person awards ceremony at The Marigold in Somerset, NJ, Tuesday, June 10, to receive their awards.

Donald M. Hudson, AIA, Senior Vice President for Facilities and Operations for Stockton University; Charles “Skip” West, AIA, Executive Director of the Office of Facilities Planning & Construction for Stockton University; and Stephen L. Schoch, AIA, LEED® AP, Principal, Thriven Design, accepted the Top Project Award on behalf of Parkview Hall at Stockton University Atlantic CIty.

Parkview Hall at Stockton University Atlantic CIty is a 133,055 square foot residential complex that combines six stories of student housing above ground-floor operations and student-life facilities and an amenity courtyard. The project is capable of housing 416 students in a total of 107 apartments that range from one to five bedrooms, each with a full kitchen. Thriven Design provided architecture and interior design services for the project, which opened to students in August, 2023.

Parkview Hall at Stockton University Atlantic City was developed by the Atlantic City Development Corporation (AC Devco) in coordination with Stockton University. It represents a continuation of AC DEVCO’s multi-decade commitment to the redevelopment of the Chelsea neighborhood of Atlantic City and a portion of a long vacant, nine-acre site adjacent to the city’s boardwalk. The redevelopment has generated an influx of nearly 1,500 new people to the area, supporting local retailers, restaurants and other businesses.
