Members of Thriven Design’s leadership and project management team were happy to join Project HOME, along with representatives from the City of Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania state legislature, on Thursday, October 16, for the groundbreaking of House of Grace, a 45-apartment supportive housing residence in Hunting Park.

Thriven Design is providing architecture, MEP engineering, and interior design services to House of Grace, which will provide safe, stable housing for individuals with substance use disorder as they embark on a new chapter in their lives. In addition to private efficiency apartments, the residence features a community room, fitness center, laundry, storage, and on-site supportive services.  Eleven of the 45 units are fully accessible units for residents with mobility or sensory impairments.

House of Grace is the latest project in a decades-long collaboration between Project HOME and Thriven Design that has produced more than a half dozen affordable and supportive residences for those at-risk-of or overcoming homelessness, including at-risk veterans, individuals with substance use disorder, LGBTQ+ youth, and youth transitioning out of foster care.

Congratulations, Project HOME and the entire House of Grace project team!
