Autumn Ridge at Manitou Park

Autumn Ridge at Manitou Park is the second phase of the Manitou Park Neighborhood revitalization for which Thriven Design provided professional design services for over a decade ago. The redevelopment brought paved roads to an area with failing septic and well water systems, due to local disinvestment. This second phase continued the mission of the redevelopment by promoting new investment in the local housing stock and infrastructure, adding 56 single family homes.

Four floor plan models resulted from the design which were adapted from the existing floorplans from the first phase and updated for today’s housing market, offering 3-4 bedrooms and 1 or 2 car garage selections. Thriven Design incorporated sustainable building practices and guided the project towards design and material choices that were sensitive to the environment, while also serving as the energy certification rater for the project. Energy Star certified appliances, HVAC equipment, and light fixtures were selected which led to an energy efficient home for the residents and lowered utility costs.
