Dr. Lena Frances Edwards Apartments

Dr. Lena Frances Edwards Apartments is a five-story, 64-unit mixed-use apartment building offering affordable housing opportunities to Jersey City families. The program includes a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, with five units reserved for supportive housing for homeless veterans.

Designed to meet ENERGY STAR standards, the project also includes a community room, management offices and laundry facilities, as well as two dedicated retail spaces and ground floor parking.

Dr. Lena Frances Edwards, for whom the project is named, was a Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient who dedicated her medical practice to helping the working poor of Jersey City for nearly 30 years.
