Rhonda Marie Schroeder Group Home

Located at 1159 North Main Street on a 1.92-acre parcel of land, the Rhonda Marie Schroeder (RMS) group home is an adaptation of a design that Thriven Design previously constructed with the Arc in Egg Harbor. Thriven Design made minor adjustments to the plan to accommodate the site as well as meet some of the programmatic changes necessary for this particular residence. Each bedroom has ample closet space, offers individually controlled heating/air conditioning, and designed to be fully handicapped accessible.
The RMS Group Home was constructed to higher efficiency standards through the incorporation of sustainable construction practices, energy-efficient design strategies, and special considerations to the indoor air quality throughout the design, construction, and operation of each home. Other features include a common laundry closet, shared living, dining and kitchen as well a small on-site staff administration office, stand-alone storage shed, and outdoor patio with adjacent gazebo. Site improvements included a new circular driveway with a drop-off area and parking lot.
