Al DeLuca

As an Associate Principal at Thriven Design, Al leverages his technical expertise and proficiency as a BIM Manager to provide oversight to Thriven Design’s project management processes, production standards, and knowledge sharing. He is a core member of Thriven Design’s Affordable Housing team and has led affordable multifamily and affordable senior projects totaling more than 1,300 units since joining the firm in 2008.

Through his extensive experience with affordable multifamily residential design, Al has gained a reputation for cultivating long-term client relationships, providing expert project management, and supporting project teams with deep knowledge of affordable housing project funding programs including 4% and 9% LIHTC tax credit programs, Aspire program funding, and programs administered by an array of the secondary and supplementary lenders.

Al is extremely well-versed in local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines that apply to residential applications. He is known for his attention to detail, innate ability to develop working solutions to project roadblocks, and skill at training new and junior staff members in architectural design programs and best practices.
