Building on the success of the first phase of redevelopment at Dr. Walter G. Alexander Village, the new senior residence represents the second phase of  a multi-phased, transit-oriented redevelopment plan for the Housing Authority of the City of Orange. Built on a site which once housed distressed public housing highrises, the new senior development offers a total of forty-eight (48) units of affordable senior housing in a mix of one- and two-bedroom configurations. The majority of the first floor units have individual entries, each fronting the street, and affording residents both privacy and visual access to the neighborhood.

Amenities at Dr. Walter G. Alexander Village include a management suite, a multi-purpose community room, a wellness center, computer center, fitness room and common laundry facilities. The buildings are designed to blend seamlessly into their surrounding environment, as well as the neighboring Phase I family residence building.
