New Market West

New Market West is a four-story, mixed-use, transit-oriented development located within walking distance from the 60th and Market Street El Stop in West Philadelphia. Built on 1.5 acres of vacant land, the vision for this new neighborhood hub emerges from the goal to revitalize a section of Philadelphia marked by economic distress and disinvestment. Thriven Design worked closely with the client to deliver a state-of-the-art facility that serves as a reference for successful transit-oriented projects in the city. It combines healthcare services, offices, community retail, and early childhood education, while incorporating an underground parking garage, welcoming public plaza, and outdoor amenity spaces with views of the city skyline.
