West Orange Senior Housing

Thriven Design provided architectural, engineering, and energy program administration expertise for the design and construction of West Orange Senior Housing, an age-restricted affordable community in the Township of West Orange. The new community replaces an aging library originally built in the 1950’s and transforms the site into a modern community with 65 affordable apartments. The apartments are comprised of 61 one-bedroom units, averaging 650 SF each, and 4 two-bedroom units, averaging 875 SF each. Residents will have access to on-site parking, modern amenities, supportive services, and age-friendly features. Five permanent units will be dedicated for individuals who are experiencing homelessness.
