Southside View selected as NJ Biz Top Project of 2026

Thriven Design is happy to congratulate Adenah Bayoh and Foya Development Group on their inclusion in NJ BIZ’s 2026 Leaders in Real Estate, Construction and Design and the selection of Southside View as a Top Project award winner!

Thriven Design is honored to have provided architecture, engineering, and interior design for Southside View, which creates 40 affordable apartments for families in Newark, New Jersey. The five-story building, located at 654 South 11th Street, features four floors of residential housing over ground-floor parking, on-site building management, mail room, and community space. Each apartment includes a washer and dryer, and residents have access to a full complement of technology amenities including free wi-fi, free laptops for elementary school students, and an on-site computer lab.

Professional services for Southside View were completed in September, 2025, and the project has since gone on to receive multiple recognitions including a 2026 Excellence Award in Affordable Housing from The Urban Land Institute of Northern New Jersey and a 2025 Outstanding Project Award for Innovation from The Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey.

Southside View’s selection as a Top Project by NJ Biz is Thriven Design’s second consecutive Top Project Win. In 2025, Parkview Hall at Stockton University, for which Thriven Design provided architecture and interior design services, was honored with the award.

Established in 2023, the Top Project Awards celebrate innovation in New Jersey’s real estate landscape. This program recognizes how selected plans and projects remade the landmarks of the past or established those of the future. Projects include private, public, transportation & infrastructure, and renovation. Individuals and projects selected as 2026 winners will be honored on Tuesday, June 9, at an awards program in Somerset, NJ.
